I’ve been working on a rewrite of my game, Fruit Typing Challenge. One of the main reasons I want to rewrite it is that I want people using other platforms to be able to play it too.<\/p>\n

The current version is made with Python. For the rewrite, I’m using NVGT. I want to make the game available to more people, including Linux and macOS users.<\/p>\n

Another reason is that I want to have more chances to improve the game in the future. I’m also planning to add more features, including a custom game mode.<\/p>\n

What About the Current Python Version?<\/h2>\n

As soon as the rewritten version is released on itch.io, I plan to make the current Python version free for everyone.<\/p>\n

This means you can try the Python version first and decide whether you want to buy the rewritten version. You can get an idea of what the game is like before spending any money on it.<\/p>\n

What About Translations?<\/h2>\n

I’m also working on translations for the game. However, some translation files may be intended for the NVGT rewrite and might not work with the current Python version.<\/p>\n

If you want to help with translations, please check which version the files are intended for.<\/p>\n

What’s Next?<\/h2>\n

I’m still working on the rewrite, so there’s no release date to share yet. I’ll post more updates when I have something new to share.<\/p>\n
